The potential of BIM to assist in project scheduling - commonly referred to as 4D - is yet another promising benefit. Although the project design and conflict resolution capabilities of BIM are widely used, the application of BIM for scheduling is still in its early stages. This is best and most economically accomplished when a 3D model is first created.
